Tony Brown is a renowned vocal percussionist, a.k.a. beatboxer. He grew up using music as a way to express himself. He found his nitch with the art of beatboxing and knew that was the direction for him.

Over the past six years, Tony has performed with Acappella Company recording artists AVB (All Vocal Band) and The Vocal Union. During this time Tony has appeared on several award winning albums including AVB “REAL” (Best Religious Song — CASA), Acappella“Hymns for All the Ages (Best ReligiousAlbum -- CASA) and The Firemen“The Firemen” (Best Religious Album -– CASA). Tony’s beatboxing skills have recently appeared on the two latest Acappella Co. recordings: The VocalUnion (All Around Me) and Acappella (Heaven and Earth). He has also appeared on several other albums including up and coming favorite WatershedWorship.

As a result of his work with the various artists along with his own solo ministry, Tony has been able to perform on various stages including Winterfest, Soul Lift, Youth in Action, Summit, Lipscomb Impact, Harding Uplift, “Jubilee” Nashville, and the Tulsa International Soul-Winning Workshop. He was a part of the Blazing Fiera Festival in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and was recently invited to be a guest beatboxer for the Austrian Beatboxing Championships ’04 in Vienna, Austria. He has been linked along side of the top beatboxers of the world, and has shared the stage with various artists including Acappella, AVB, The Vocal Union, Keith Lancaster and Rodney Britt, Free Indeed, Watershed Worship, Voces, The Firemen, A Cross Between, Wayburn Dean, George Pendergrass, Clear, One Generation, Mukala and Glorify Him.
